AHS 2013 Girls' Basketball Season Highlights

ECC Champions and undefeated conference record of 12-0.
This is the team's third conference title in four seasons. 
The team finished 9th in the city coach's poll.
Overall record of 17-6.
Madison Temple was named ECC Player of the Year and 1st Team All SW District for the second year in a row.  
Haley Temple was named 1st Team ECC.
Anna Kerregan & Maggie Harris were named 2nd Team ECC.
Haley Temple & Anna Kerregan were named to the East/West Senior All Star Game.
Coach Carletti was named ECC and SW District Coach of the Year.
ECC Academic Award winners:   Maggie Harris, Katleyn Newton, Sydney Polster, Maggie Rosenberger, Haley Temple, Madison Temple, Kayla Wiley, & Sarah Elzey.

Congratulations to AHS basketball player Madison Temple!  She was named All-Ohio Girls Basketball Honorable Mention.

Congratulations to the Anderson's Lady Redskins and their coaching staff for going undefeated (12-0) in the Eastern Cincinnati Conference ("ECC") and being crowned the "2012-2013 - ECC Champions". The Lady Redskin's overall record thus far is 17-5.
 
Also congratulations to Girls' Basketball Coach, Chris Carletti,  he was named ECC Coach of the Year and Southwest District Coach of the Year.  His teams have won the conference title three of the past four seasons.  Madison Temple was named ECC Player of the Year as well as 1st Team All Southwest District for the second year in a row.

Madison, and senior sister Haley, were also named first-team all-league.

Anna Kerregan and Maggie Harris took second-team ECC recognition, while Katelyn Newton received honorable mention.

Madison Temple named Cincinnati Enquirer HS Basketball Player of the Week 1/28/13!

Congratulations to AHS Lady Redskin, Madison Temple, she was named Cincinnati Enquirer High School Basketball Player of the Week for January 28th.  The sophomore guard scored 23 points Saturday in the Redskins' 58-43 victory against Loveland. Temple also excelled on defense with six steals and 10 defensive rebounds

Anderson High School is a comprehensive high school, offering a wide range of courses and programs. While the majority of students are enrolled in college preparatory courses of study, students are also able to pursue specialized vocational programs at the career development campuses of the Great Oaks Joint Vocational District.

The Forest Hills School District is a comprehensive preschool through 12th-grade school district located in the southeastern suburbs of Cincinnati. The district serves nearly 7,800 students living in the communities of Anderson Township and the Village of Newtown with a combined population of about 45,000.

THE ECC

The Eastern Cincinnati Conference will begin play with the 2012-13 school year. The ECC will be comprised of Anderson, Glen Este, Kings, Loveland, Milford, Turpin and Walnut Hills High Schools. The ECC is dedicated to promoting interscholastic activities as an integral part of the total educational process providing opportunities for both boys and girls to compete at the highest athletic levels while stressing integrity, sportsmanship, respect and team work.
