Cheerleading Tryout Information
The Pre-Tryout meeting for the 2013-2014 seasons will be Tuesday, March 26, 2013 in the AHS cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. We will go over important dates, tryout requirements, and potential costs for the 2013-14 seasons. This meeting is mandatory for all potential cheerleaders and their parents.
Tryouts will be Tuesday, April 9, Thursday, April 11 and Friday, April 12 after school in the AHS gym. Times will be posted ASAP.
AHS Diver Jason Smith Qualifies for State!
Congratulations to AHS Senior diver, Jason Smith! He qualified to compete in the OHSAA State Championship by finishing 5th at the District Championship held at Miami University.
Also congratualtions to AHS Sophomore diver Evan Leupen who finished 8th. The top seven qualify for state. Evan missed qualifying for State by 1.73 points.

Girls Varsity Basketball Coach Chris Carletti
Chris attended Summit Country Day High School and received his undergraduate degree in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and his teaching certificate from Xavier University. Chris has been coaching basketball for eighteen years, and is in his thirteenth year of teaching math and coaching girls’ basketball at Anderson. His team went undefeated in conference play in 2010 and they won back-to-back conference titles in 2010 and 2011. He was also named FAVC Coach of the Year in 2011.

Boys Varsity Basketball Coach Brandy
Frank is entering his twentieth season as the head coach of his alma mater. As a 1982 graduate, he was an all-city point guard who led his team to the city championship. Frank is a 1987 graduate of the University of Cincinnati where he earned a business degree. As the coach of the Redskins, Brandy has distinguished himself as the winningest boys’ basketball coach with 237 all-time victories. He has twice been named conference Coach of the Year. His 2004 team finished 19-1, captured a league title, and was ranked second in the city. Frank was proudly inducted in to the Anderson’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008.
